FAQ'S

Does getting your carpet cleaned mean it gets dirtier, sooner?

No.Unlike most carpet cleaning systems, we don't use shampoo which leaves a residue that attracts dirt. We rinse your carpets with nothing but warm water.

How long do my carpets take to dry?

It depends on the weather but as we extract the vast majority of water there and then, it's usually no longer than a few hours.

What preperations do I need to make?

Our carpet cleaning machine stays in the van, so somewhere to park is a good start. There's always two of us so we can move any furniture that you need us to, just make sure any cupboards or sideboards are emptied in advance. It's always sensible to move any precious breakables.

I've not had my carpets long, will this affect my Scotch Guard protection?

No. Our process will remove dirt, but not your factory applied Scotch Guard. If your carpets or upholstery are of age, we can apply new stain protection.

Will you change the texture of my carpet?

No. Our process is gentle but effective and we will never scrub your carpet to the extent you can see where we have tackled stains. We can not wash out wear but we can restore the pile in areas that have been flattened, such as around beds which is usually caused by foot sweat.

Why can't I just do this myself?

Using shop bought products or renting a self cleaning system is certainly an option but if you care about the finish of your carpet or you're trying to retain your rental bond, it's not the most effective option and not always the cheapest. Shop bought sprays or foams can clean around any stain you're tackling leaving a 'bullseye' effect. Home renting a system can drastically alter the pile in your carpet and overwetting a carpet can leave unpleasant odours and can cause permanent damage.

Why do you cost so much less than a national franchised company?

Because we an indepenent entity and you're not paying for the name. We are perfectionists and we charge per square metre regardless of the condition of your carpet. When we're at your home or business, we care about your carpet as much as you do and we will do everything to ensure your carpet is in the best condition possible. We do not do 'once-overs'.
